CTMA (with/without the deployment of the B-LiFE RRML) can offer its expertise in detection, identification, characterisation and monitoring of bioagents of any kind (viruses, bacteria, fungi, toxins, …) both in the field, in the RRML deployed close to the health crisis area, and in the stationary reference lab at the headquarter. B-LiFE has the flexibility to meet the requirements of a field hospital support capability if needed.
Being an academic and clinical lab, CTMA uses and constantly improves the methods, cutting edge technologies and adapts them to the work in the field (Ref 1-9).
Besides, CTMA has experience in training and can offer training for the RRML work, organisation, procedures, clinical and environmental sampling, pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processing of samples, cold chain, logistics, biosafety/biosecurity requirements, quality control, lab information management, data protection and privacy, communications (Ref 10-14).
CTMA is a multinational entity with experts speaking English, French, Dutch, Arabic, Russian, Turkish so training and other types of missions and support to other teams are possible in different parts of the world.
